Our Mission

Our Mission:​We are a community-based non-profit organisation. Our organisation forms part of a national networking body called South Africa Cares for Life, which provides emotional support, practical assistance, information and friendship for those suffering the emotional consequences of unplanned pregnancies. We offer counselling, give talks on sexuality and help individuals obtain identity documentation. Services provided include: Life Skills Training, Psycho-Social Support.

Our Programs And Services

  1. The programs and services of Amato Pregnancy Counselling Centre include the following:
    Emotional Support Counseling for individuals dealing with the emotional challenges of unplanned pregnancies.
    A supportive environment fostering friendship and understanding.
  2. Life Skills Training
    Programs designed to equip individuals with skills to manage life challenges effectively.
    Focus on self-reliance and decision-making.
  3. Psycho-Social Support
    Addressing the psychological and social impacts of unplanned pregnancies.
    Support groups and one-on-one counseling.
  4. Sexuality Education Talks and workshops on topics related to sexuality, responsible choices, and reproductive health.
  5. Identity Documentation Assistance
    Guidance and support in obtaining necessary identity documents for affected individuals.
  6. Psycho-Social Support: We provide psycho-social support to individuals and families experiencing emotional and psychological challenges. Our trained professionals offer a safe space for individuals to express their feelings, receive guidance, and develop coping strategies.
  7. Collaboration with Social Welfare Services: We collaborate with social welfare services to ensure a comprehensive support system for our community. By working together, we can address broader social issues and provide holistic assistance to those in need.
